Thank you to all of those who attended our Sculptra Fundraiser Sunday, May 24th at the Mix Bar on 18th street. A special thanks goes out to all of our friends and colleagues who volunteered their time: Larry Metzger, Ross Crum, Bebe Sweetbriar, Sylvia Hernandez, John Lopez, Paul Montwillo, DJ Aubrey, John Battieger and Brian McConnell.
The great news is that we raised over $1300.00, which will help continue our efforts in educating people about sexual health issues facing our community.
Of the many highlights of the afternoon was Anna Damiani, Senior Field Representative for Assemblyman Mark Leno, presenting Dr. Conant and the Conant Foundation with the State of California Senate Certificate of Recognition. This was given in commendation of the “many years of commitment to helping countless individuals living with HIV/AIDS.”
Don’t forget! The festivities continue throughout the summer, starting with three more events at the Mix on Thursday June 4, 11, and 18th!
