We are working hard to bring you the best HIV/AIDS and STD information on the internet. If there is an issue or topic you would like covered, or perhaps would like to suggest a site, please contact us at letters@conantfoundation.org.

Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

Project Inform – “Today, Project Inform is a national, non-profit, community-based organization that remains true to its activist roots. Fiscal prudence, efficient use of resources, and dedicated staff and volunteers sustain a lean organization that cuts a wide swath with industry, government, researchers and clinicians to improve the lives of people living with HIV disease and their loved ones.”

HIV and Hepatitis – “Our common objective is to create a quality online publication that provides accurate, timely and cutting-edge information about treatment for HIV/AIDS, chronic hepatitis B and hepatitis C, and co-infection with HIV/HCV and HIV/HBV.”

SFDPH – The San Francisco Department of Public Health makes their reports available to the public online.  Click here to browse reports on San Francisco AIDS epidemiology, AIDS surveillance, and monthly STD reports.

Black Coalition on AIDS – “The mission of the Black Coalition on AIDS is to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and eliminate health disparities in the Black community.  BCA strives to achieve its mission by providing health and wellness services including, but not limited to, house, education, advocacy, health case management and other health-promoting activites.”

AIDS.gov – “AIDS.gov provides access to Federal HIV/AIDS information through a variety of new media channels, and supports the use of new media tools by Federal and community partners to improve domestic HIV programs serving minority and other communities most at-risk for, or living with, HIV.”

San Francisco AIDS Foundation – “The San Francisco AIDS Foundation provides leadership to prevent new HIV infections. Linking community experience with science, the Foundation develops ground-breaking prevention programs and bold policy initiatives to promote health and create sustainable progress against HIV. Established in 1982, the Foundation refuses to accept that HIV transmission is inevitable.”

LifeLube – Made possible by Chicago’s own Sexual Health Xchange and Project CRYSP, this web site (and blog) raises public awareness about the sexual health needs of all gay men and other men who have sex with men.

The Body – “The Body’s mission is to: 1. Use the Web to lower barriers between patients and clinicians.  2. Demystify HIV/AIDS and its treatment.  3. Improve patients’ quality of life.  4. Foster community through human connection.”
